Hibro — application homepage

Public product page. You do not need an account or password to read this page. Signing in is only required if you want to use the dashboard.

This is the official Hibro application homepage used for Google OAuth branding and verification. It describes what Hibro is, what it does, and why Hibro may request Google user data. Our Privacy Policy is a separate page and explains collection, use, sharing, security, retention, and deletion in full.

1. Purpose of the application

Hibro is a software-as-a-service application operated at https://www.hibro.ai. Its purpose is to help small and mid-size businesses run customer communication from one place. Businesses use Hibro as an AI assistant that:

Hibro exists so owners do not have to sit on WhatsApp all day, miss website enquiries, or copy leads into a spreadsheet by hand. Connecting Google is optional. A business can use WhatsApp and the website widget without connecting Gmail or Calendar.

2. Who the application is for

Hibro is built for businesses (for example clinics, agencies, property teams, and local services) that already talk to customers on WhatsApp or on their website. It is not a consumer social app and it is not intended for children under 13.

3. How the application works

WhatsApp and website chat

After a workspace is created, the business can link a WhatsApp number (by scanning a QR code) and can paste a small script onto their website. Customers then message as usual. Hibro stores those conversations in the workspace, uses the configured knowledge base to draft a reply, and either sends it automatically or holds it for supervisor approval, depending on the mode the business chose.

Lead capture

On the website widget, a visitor typically enters their name and phone number (email is optional) before the chat starts. Hibro saves that person as a contact and a CRM lead so the business can follow up. If the business has connected a sending mailbox, Hibro also emails those details to the inbox the business chose.

Google Calendar

If the business connects Google Calendar, Hibro can create, update, or cancel an event when a customer books or reschedules. Typical event fields are title, time, duration, and attendee name or phone. Hibro does this only when the scheduling feature is used.

Gmail

If the business connects Gmail, Hibro can send a short notification from that Gmail account, for example “New website chat lead: Jane / +852 …”. Hibro uses the Gmail send scope only. Hibro does not read, search, list, or download the user’s inbox, sent mail, drafts, attachments, or labels.

4. Why Hibro requests Google user data

When a signed-in Hibro user clicks Connect Gmail or Connect Google Calendar, Google shows a consent screen. Hibro asks only for the scopes needed for the feature they turned on:

Hibro uses this Google data solely to provide those user-facing features. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use Gmail or Calendar data to train generalized or non-personalized AI / machine-learning models. Full legal detail is in the Hibro Privacy Policy.
